Press poet Rhiannon Hooson

was born in 1979. Originally from Wales, she lives and works as a writer in Cumbria. Her first pamphlet collection, This Reckless Beauty, was published by Wild Women Press in 2004. Her poetry is richly flavoured by the heritage of mythology and folklore and she has been published in various journals and was short-listed for the Eric Gregory Award. She has recently been published in Seren Selections, an anthology of new writers from Seren Books. She currently tutors on the Lancaster University BA in Creative Writing where she is now studying for her PhD.
